My daughter’s new school basically has this no sweets policy. Everything you want to bring to your child’s class has to be approved by the school nurse or administration. That means no cupcakes or cookies to school—even if it is your kid’s birthday. At Honey’s previous schools (she has had to school hop for the past few years due to my schooling) I was always able to pick up some cupcakes at the local Kroger for her class to share. That’s the easiest way to make a kiddo feel extra special on their birthday, right?
However, this year I did not get that easy option. Honey really wanted to share something fun and tasty with her 2nd grade class. So what is a tired and creatively drained Mama to do? She hits up Pinterest. As I searched the Pinner-web, I sadly had to skip through all the cute cupcakes and cookie treats. After an hour long search, I finally landed on something I could potentially use. I found these really cute fruit cup/juice box robots. Honey Jane and I then set off to Walmart in hunt of juice boxes, fruit cups, and googly eyes.
